Who we are

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we take your name, email address, phone number, your vehicle’s registration, make and model, your postcode if you give it, any photos you upload and anything you write in the comments. If you phone us or email us we keep a note of the conversation. If you book, we keep the job details and your invoice.

Why we use it

To give you a quote, answer your questions and book the work in. After you ask for a quote we will follow up by email, and sometimes by phone or WhatsApp, to see if you want to go ahead. If you ticked the box to receive discounts by email we will send you offers now and then; you can unsubscribe from any of those emails.

Who we share it with

The software we use to run the business: our booking and invoicing system, our email provider, and the system that sends your quote and follow-ups. We use Google Analytics to see how people use the website, and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our advertising. When you submit a quote request we pass your email address and phone number to Google in a hashed form, so Google can tell us which adverts lead to enquiries. Google cannot read them; it only matches them against its own records. We do not sell your details to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses cookies from Google and Meta for analytics and advertising, and one cookie of our own that remembers how you first found us, kept for 90 days, so we know which adverts are worth paying for. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and job records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal obligations, which for accounting records is six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it for marketing. Email us at the address above. If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
